Ability to disable UI snackbars

The constant UI snackbars about "in progress" and "completed" are highly distracting and limit the speed at which edits can be made. Please, please, please: provide an option to disable snackbar notifications. The spinner icon next to affected items already indicates that an operation is in progress, so these feel very redundant.
