SOW Creation

Business Need: Automatically Populate Concourse Scope into iCertis SOWs

Scope selected and defined in Concourse should automatically populate the corresponding Statement of Work (SOW) in iCertis. Today, requiring teams to manually transfer scope between systems creates unnecessary duplication, increases administrative effort, and introduces the risk that the contracted SOW does not accurately reflect the scope that was configured and approved during the pursuit process.

Integrating Concourse and iCertis would create a more seamless sell-to-deliver workflow and a single, consistent representation of scope from pursuit through contracting and delivery. The scope established in Concourse would flow directly into the SOW, reducing manual re-entry and ensuring alignment between what was scoped, what was contracted, and ultimately what the delivery team is expected to execute.

This capability would:

  • Reduce manual effort and cycle time by eliminating the need to recreate or copy scope into iCertis.

  • Improve accuracy and consistency by reducing transcription errors, omissions, and unintended changes between Concourse and the final SOW.

  • Strengthen governance and risk management by maintaining traceability between approved scope and contractual commitments.

  • Improve the practitioner experience by connecting existing workflow steps rather than requiring teams to navigate and reconcile information across multiple systems.

  • Enable greater standardization and scalability by allowing structured, approved scope language to flow consistently into contracting.

  • Create stronger downstream delivery alignment by ensuring delivery teams can trace contractual commitments back to the scope established during the pursuit.

Ultimately, scope should be defined once and reused throughout the engagement lifecycle. Automatically flowing Concourse scope into the iCertis SOW removes a manual handoff, reduces risk, and creates a more connected experience from scoping and contracting through delivery.
