Background & Objective:
We are currently working on confirming the translation for each work item while also considering the creation of an EN-JA translation table to help stabilize the translation quality of the LLM. To ensure translation consistency, we would like to request the implementation of a mechanism that allows this table to function as a "dictionary" within the system.
Requested Functionality:
Integrate the EN-JA translation table as a dictionary within the system
When a new work item is added in JIRA Cloud, the translation process should automatically reference the dictionary and generate translations based on the registered terminology and expressions
Expected Benefits:
Improved translation quality and terminology consistency
Reduced cost of manual translation corrections
Streamlined translation workflow upon new work item creation

Hi Kazuki, thank you for the submission. I will have our Jira Cloud team take a look at this but we are currently supporting the translation on the Concourse side before the data is sent to Jira Cloud. We can work on using this dictionary to improve the translation however, we cannot influence translation inside Jira Cloud at this time. There is a Global Translation Agent available in Rovo, which I believe you can utilize to translate the individual work items you are viewing. This could support in the cross language projects for now.
In the future we could consider a PwC specific translation Agent that uses the translation dictionary and translation improvements we make in the backend. For now, additional translation development is on hold while we rebuild the Admin Portal. We can reevaluate timing for translation in FY27Q1.
