Put Simply:
This proposal suggests adding an AI feature to JIRA that automatically checks designated SharePoint folders to assess task progress and update ticket statuses and comments accordingly. The goal is to reduce manual workload for users and improve the accuracy and timeliness of progress tracking.

Why it Matters:
Currently, progress updates and confirmations in JIRA are handled manually, which leads to the following issues:

• Even when deliverables (files or documents) are updated in SharePoint, JIRA statuses must be manually updated

• The timing of progress updates varies depending on individual judgment

• Discrepancies often arise between actual deliverables and the progress status shown in JIRA, reducing project management accuracy

What's Needed:

• Implement AI that regularly monitors specified SharePoint folders

• Use file update information (e.g., timestamps, filenames, content changes) to automatically determine task progress

• Automatically update the relevant JIRA ticket status and comments based on detected changes

• Optionally, notify users for confirmation when needed
