Implement a context-aware search engine leveraging AI to provide users with relevant asset recommendations based on their current workflow, project phase, or client type. The system should allow users to input a query (e.g., “kickoff deck”) and receive intelligently ranked results—factoring in project context, asset freshness, and past usage.
Put Simply: Let users quickly find the most relevant, up-to-date assets by searching in plain language, with AI surfacing the best matches.
Why it Matters: Addresses the generational shift in work habits—users expect fast, relevant search over structured navigation. Increases efficiency, improves new joiner ramp-up, and reduces redundancy in asset creation.
Supporting Feedback: “...the newer generation doesn’t go with the flow we want them to go in Concourse... What they want to do is I type in ‘kick off deck’ and then all of a sudden give me 10 results back and I trust myself have the judgment to pick the best one right... So I think that’s kind of like something I’ve noticed, especially last few years.”

We are rolling out our new Asset Search using Ask Concourse that allows you to search for assets in both your Concourse and Jira Cloud workspaces. We have future enhancements to leverage work item context for an even more context aware engine. More updates to follow!
