The Offering Group field (previously called Family, also known as L1 in the Offering Structure) is a key decision point in the scoping flow—but it can be abstract and hard to grasp, especially for new users. Adding visual illustrations for each Offering Group will improve comprehension, engagement, and the overall usability of the flow.
Why It Matters:
Enhances understanding: Visuals help users grasp the purpose and differences between Offering Groups without needing to parse technical language.
Boosts engagement: Makes the scoping experience more dynamic and less intimidating.
Supports better decisions: Helps users quickly identify and select the correct Offering Group.
Aligns with the offerings vision: Visual elements reinforce the structured, guided nature of the offerings-based scoping journey.
What’s Needed:
Alignment with the Offering Storefront team. They will need to add the same illustrations.
Unique, branded illustrations for each Offering Group (10 total).
UI updates to display these visuals in the scope flow alongside the Offering Group names.
Optional tooltips or hover elements for added context.
Scalable backend and admin support for updates and future flexibility.
