Thank you for your suggestion and appreciate your input. This feedback has been reviewed by the Concourse product team and based on current design, this is working as intended. Back dating is allowed and it is recommended that any inactive users be removed from the workspace. Inactive users will remain on items that were previously assigned to by design. Jira can be integrated to a Concourse workspace which provides a history of changes by user (when updated in Jira) that may better address these concerns.
